28’’ In Length, Fresh Water Natural Cultured Peacock Pearls, Peacock Blues, Pewter, Eggplant, Malachite hues, these pearls range in size from 8mm to 10mm, they have excellent Orient and Luster. Some of the Pearls are called ring Pearls because of a visible Saturn like ring around the body.The findings are all 14kt Gold bonded and finished off with a 20mm toggle clasp
The Bracelet fits a 7 1/4’’ wrist, Fresh Water Natural Cultured Pearls are a mix of Peacock hues matching back to the Necklace. The findings are all 14kt Gold bonded and finished off with a 10mm toggle clasp
The Earrings are 1 1/2’’ done on a 14kt Gold bonded elongated oval with posts and large Butterfly 14kt Gold bonded clutch backs, the Pearls are 10mm Fresh Water Natural Edison Peacock Eggplant, all the findings are 14kt Gold bonded. Excellent Orient and Luster.
This is a combination of several different strands of Cultured Fresh Water Natural Pearls in various Peacock colors, I wanted to incorporate all the hues in this Suite which is a great example of just how many Peacock colors there are.
Kapaau is a great Suite to start with if you are a first time Fresh Water buyer. These Fresh Water Pearls stand on their own next to a Salt Water strand without the price point, that is not to say that Fresh Water pearls are not as valuable as Salt Water pearls, it’s Apples and Oranges if you will.
Salt Water Oyster pearls take 2 times if not 3 times longer to develop as well as the yield collected at harvest, they are a one pearl at a time Mollusk, and that is why the cost is considerably more than her cousin the Fresh Water Mussel Pearl who can yield up to 20 pearls.
